I have trained on general engineering principles for the disciplines of design, mechanical & structural.

Design & FAE

Computer-aided design is a way to digitally create 2D drawings and 3D models of real-world products—before they’re ever manufactured. With 3D CAD, you can share, review, simulate, and modify designs easily.

On such a technology I have mainly trained on Catia and technical drawing.

Engineering simulation,  refers to the use of sophisticated graphical software to analyze designs and solve engineering problems. CAE includes Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermal Analysis, Multibody Dynamics, and Optimization.

In FEA I have mainly worked on Ansys.

Regarding help with hands on calculation, most of what I have used is GNU Octave as an alternative to Matlab.

Prosthetic foot : design and study

Using a direct linear transformation (DLT) algorithm on Matlab, transforming image coordinates into 3D spatial data. We then use this in order to create a prototype of a prosthetic foot .

Energy and mechanical study : Bike frame

We are going to focus on the energy part, i.e. design the braking according to the constraints.
